International Transaction Fees
Please be aware that although we process your transaction in US Dollars payment is sent to a US Dollar bank account based in England. In recent months due to the gigantic losses that the banks have made they have started to look for ways to claw back (more) money from their customers and it seems that some of them are applying an international transaction fee. This is nothing to do with the exchange rate as the money stays in US Dollars and we really cant see how the bank can justify such a charge as the payments are electronic and the physical location of the final bank is fairly irrelevant. We are unable to tell you if or how much your bank may charge you it seems to vary from nothing in most cases to a few dollars or in some cases up to 3%. We are afraid that Leon Paul cant be held responsible for these charges and you should check with your card issuer before purchasing to find out if you will be charged. Please if you are charged by your card issuer make a short written complaint to them explaining that you think these charges are unfair, customer complaints are the only thing that will get them to change their policies back. To order just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy then put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selections, click on "Check Out" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to despatch the order. Please note your card will be charged at the time you place your order.
At present we are only able to accept Visa and Mastercard payments. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes.
Shipping And Handling
All orders ship for FREE!
For small orders (less than 2lb) we use regular Air Mail which is an un tracked service. This usually takes 3-7 days from the date of DISPATCH to arrive but in some extreme cases may take up to 2 or 3 weeks. For these small orders it is possible to upgrade your shipping to a tracked courier service for a surcharge of $10 and you will be given this option during checkout.
Any orders weighing more than 2lb will automatically be shipped for free by a tracked courier service. This service usually takes 1-4 days from the date of DISPATCH to reach you depending on your location.
Orders placed with Leon Paul USA ship from Leon Paul's global distribution facility in London England. Please note we are only able to ship to permanent residences and places of work.
You can check on the progress of your order until it leaves us by clicking
here. Then when the package leaves our dispatch department you will receive an automated e mail confirming that the parcel is on it's way, for orders sent via a tracked service this e mail will include a tracking number and instructions on how to track your parcel on line.
If a parcel arrives and is damaged or opened please check the contents of the parcel before you accept it. Leon Paul USA can not take responsibility if part of a package is missing once it has been signed for by the customer.
Delivery Schedule
In stock items are usually despatched within 48 hours but during very busy periods it may take slightly longer.
We only have relatively small stocks of certain specialised items such as coloured lames, coloured and vision 2000 masks, FIE clothing, coaching gear etc... if these are not in stock they will be made to order and will take longer to arrive than stock items.
Tax Charges
Tax Charges Leon Paul USA send a majority of our orders from our global distribution centre in London, for delivery to the USA you should not be charged any duty for orders under $2000. In a tiny minority of cases, less than 1 in 1000, US customs incorrectly charge duty of around 4%. We are afraid that we cant be responsible for these errors you will need to contact US customs and try to arrange for a refund directly with them. We are very sorry for any inconvenience that this causes.
If your delivery address is in Canada then you will be charged import duty by Canadian customs.
It is entirely the customers responsibility to be aware of ANY import charges that may be made regardless of the destination. Leon Paul USA can take no responsibility for ANY import or duty charges.
Credit Card Security
Once you enter the area of the site where credit card information has to be submitted you will be transferred to a SECURE server. You will see https:// at the beginning of the web address in your toolbar rather than http:// signifying that the area is secure. You will also see a padlock in the toolbar at the bottom of the browser. These pages are encrypted with 128 bit encryption and are GUARANTEED 100% SECURE. All of our products are guaranteed for 28 days minimum. If a product fails outside this period and you consider it to be sub standard please contact us and we will consider replacing it at no charge. Bank and Credit Card charges
Bank and Credit card charges The site is entirely priced in US dollars and the payment is made to Leon Paul in US Dollars however; recently a very small minority of credit card companies and banks have started charging a foreign transaction fee because the final destination of the money is a bank based in England. This charge is only levied by a very small minority of card issuers, less than 0.2%. We believe that this charge is wholly unreasonable, there is no added risk for the card issuer and they are just taking an opportunity to rip off their, and our, customer. I am afraid that we cant be held responsible for this charge as it is levied by the card issuer and we have no control over it. If this charge is made when you place an order we suggest that you contact the card issuer and make a strong request for a refund based on the fact that there is no additional work or risk for them by which to justify the charge.
Privacy Policy
Leon Paul USA do not disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' option.
Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders

Returns Policy
Returns Policy Leon Paul USA has a very liberal policy on the return or exchange of merchandise. All goods may be returned for a full refund within 28 days of purchase provided that the merchandise is unused and in its original condition and packaging. If goods were ordered incorrectly then exchanges can be made but shipping charges will be incurred. Leon Paul USA can not be held responsible for items lost in transit to us so please insure your return shipment.
Merchandise should be returned with a copy of the receipt and a note explaining the action that you want taken. Please write your credit card number (Visa or Mastercard) and expiration date on the receipt to pay for the return shipping of the item that you are exchanging.
