Leon Paul, the man

lives on in our hearts and in our minds. His influence is our raison d’être; so too his philosophy and values - what Leon Paul achieved, and what he shaped. What Leon Paul started and finished, to then be reinvented. Fencing inspired is Leon Paul’s iconic legacy. It is the memory of a life’s work - unlimited, echoing from generation to generation. Third Generation

This sees another age of the Paul family. Cousins Barry and Steven place history on repeat - training as world-class fencers as well as joining the thriving family business, actively modernising the development of the equipment and it’s manufacture. Launching the first Leon Paul blades from their own mechanical forge, Leon Paul’s focus on invention grows with Barry designing the world’s first sectional pistes. These are used in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and in all major fencing events since.
